The Let’s Kinect arcade game made its debut at the IAPPA trade show last week, and it’s just what a sounds like — an arcade game that utilizes Microsoft’s Kinect sensor. It’s actually a lot olike Nintendo’s Play Choice 10 arcade cabinets in that it plays retail titles that are operated on a timer.

Gran Turismo 5 has 50 minute install, can do while played

Attention to everyone that likes to bitch, including those that won’t even play this game: Word is that Gran Turismo 5 takes 50 minutes to install, and up to 10 GB of hard disk space. CVG linked us to a forum post where one guy that apparently has the game says it takes this long, and that the “space taken is actually about 6.4GB, but that space gradually unpacks as you’re playing to be closer to the previously mentioned 10GB.” My response

New info on Kinect Panzer Dragoon wannabe Project Draco

We haven’t heard much about the Japanese Kinect game coming from Yukio Futatsugi, the director of Sega classic Panzer Dragoon , since Tokyo Game Show. A new Kinect feature on Famitsu reveals a few new details and some screenshots of what they’re calling “Project Draco.”  In this release, scheduled to hit Japan in 2011, you’ll use Kinect to communicate with a dragon. GameStop: Move and Kinect will be as big as Wii

GameStop CEO Tony Bartel isn’t just hopeful about the chances of Kinect and PlayStation Move — he’s practically declared them the champions of the world. Claiming that Microsoft and Sony’s waggle interfaces will evoke the “Wii phenomenon” and cause huge amounts of hype, he’s suggested that consumers will be following UPS trucks to the stores.  “I see a very strong marketplace for this and I see the fervour that is beginning during the holiday season for the Kinect and Move is it’s very, very strong,” he says. “I see that — as we have the Wii phenomenon we had customers following UPS trucks to our store.
