A holiday update on the state of the Bit.Trip universe

The Bit.Trip games have slowly but surely made their way to platforms other than their original home on the Nintendo Wii. This week, the third title in the acclaimed retro-inspired series, Bit.Trip Void ,  released on Steam , while Bit.Trip Saga , the 3DS compilation of all six games, went digital as apart of the  Nintendo eShop update .   But what’s the point of reminiscing about the games yesteryear when we can pine for the Bit.Trip of tomorrow.  Bit.Trip Presents: Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien is coming to PlayStation 3, Windows, Mac, Linux, Wii U, and Xbox 360 early next year

Black Knight Sword to see release on XBLA next week

When Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture teamed up for Sine Mora , the results were something special. I’m hopeful the duo can pull out another solid release with Black Knight Sword , debuting very soon on Xbox Live Arcade: December 12, 2012. Either I’ve lost track of the game, or there hasn’t been a whole lot said about it from either studio.

Guardians of Middle-earth impressions

MOBA and LOTR : two four-letter acronyms that mean nothing to most people but a whole lot to some. Warner Bros. Interactive is hoping that there is overlap between the two and that this overlap will occur on consoles, where massive online battle arenas (derp)

Here’s your Guardians of Middle Earth launch trailer

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting Monolith’s upcoming MOBA-inspired Guardians of Middle-earth , then you’ll be happy to know the game will be available on PSN on Tuesday this week, with its XBLA debut on Wednesday.
