Anonymous first-party analytics
You have not made a choice on this browser.
Declining removes H/CTOR’s anonymous visitor and session identifiers from this browser and stops future analytics collection. It does not affect email signup. What the analytics measure
When allowed, H/CTOR records page views, approximate unique and returning visitors, sessions, traffic-source categories, UTM campaign values, email signup attribution, and outbound clicks to featured projects.
What is stored in your browser
- A random first-party anonymous visitor identifier.
- A session identifier that ends with the browser session.
- The first landing page, referrer origin, source, and UTM values needed for first-touch attribution.
- Your allow or decline choice.
H/CTOR does not use browser fingerprinting, third-party advertising cookies, or cross-site behavioral tracking.
Cloudflare may separately use strictly necessary security storage to identify bots, prevent abuse, and deliver the site. That security storage is not controlled by the optional analytics setting above.
How to change or reset the choice
Use the controls above or the “Privacy Settings” button shown on public pages. Declining clears H/CTOR’s anonymous visitor and session identifiers from this browser and stops future analytics collection. Clearing all browser storage may also remove your saved choice, so H/CTOR may ask again.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, analytics remain off and the allow button is disabled. Browser support and signal behavior can vary.
